To ensure balanced content over its 7-day 24-hour broadcast schedule Mzansi Joburg City FM engages
in participative dialogue with community leaders and residents alike; provides a wide range of musical entertainment; a popular daily magazine Programme focusing on the family, health and women’s issues, youth-participation forums, educational, community health, and cultural programs, sports coverage, and the opportunity for all to interact on air with current issues affecting themselves, their families and communities towards development and growth.
The radio station has a programming format of 60% talk and 40% music on the daily broadcast with a total of 60 minutes of local news, 45 minutes of national news and 30 minutes of international news per day.

Executive committee
FOUNDER/CEO/PRESIDENT – Tsietsi M. Ramotsoela is tasked with the major creativity around Hillbrow Radio and also the brain behind Hillbrow Radio programming which contributes to his few years in the music industry as a DJ, a master of ceremonies, producer, and performer. He possesses dynamic skills in digital music production with an 8-track recording studio and a passion for graphic design. He trained himself by acquiring gadgets to enable him to do so.
He has played a significant role in various developmental stages of the Afri-Global Walk of Stars and continues to do so, He was Marketing Director of the South African Community Radio Awards(SACRA) 2012 to 2014. Mzansi Liquor Traders Associations (MLTA) Administrator up to date.
(Mr. Ramotsoela) a living example of hard work, determination, perseverance, and courage.
A former student leader who comes with a background in events management at the club, hotels a former DJ, and crime fighter in the precinct. With his down-to-earth personality, Mr. Ramotsoela is an open-minded father figure who leads by example from the forefront, A Music lecturer at Rostec College.
GENERAL DIRECTOR – Siyabonga B Mbuyazi, also known for his work in the live remix project Juicy Punch, is a Producer, Programs Manager, Motivational Speaker and DJ based in Johannesburg born and raised in Mtubatuba Kwazulu Natal, CO. He creates and
performs electronic dance music, including bass-heavy remixes of club and house favorites, original glitch hop, soulful deep house, funky house or amalgamations of other styles. DJ at a well-known soul Candi Institute of Music, covering various styles and genres with a focus on dance music and hip hop, Samples began creating his hybrid of house and dance music into a club sound that fits as well in theaters and festivals as it does on dance floors.
DIRECTOR – Walter Sello Motau is one of the key instrumental figures in the establishment of station presenters. He comes on board with a strong sense of health motivational person from Soweto he worked at Jozi FM,999 Music, Mabala Noise, Massiv Metro, and Pheli FM. Razzmatazz, The Oz pub, 707, Panyaz, and Red Square DJ knock-out judge for 5 years and Sama Award judge for 3 years. A taxi driver also once a street kid at the age 13 for 1 year rehabilitated. In 1996-1988 they formed an unregistered forum JEAD (Joburg Entertainment Artists & Deejays) under the leadership of DJ Shabbah T due to work opportunities they parted ways for great content to teach and mentor new talents in the music industry…
